A COOPERATIVE THAT EMPOWERS FARMERS TO
SUCESSFULLY START
&
PRODUCTIVELY RUN
THEIR REGENERATIVE FARMS
WHAT ARE THE HURDLES FOR STARTING FARMERS?
  • REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE IS LABOUR INTENSIVE

  • REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE ASKS FOR A VERY DIVERSE SET OF SKILLS

  • THERE OFTEN IS A LACK OF REGENERATIVELY PRODUCED INPUTS IN LOCAL AREA

  • CUSTOMERS ARE ”SPOILED” AND PREFER THE EASE OF BUYING IN ONE PLACE

  • HIGH COSTS OF SCALING

  • HAVING TO COMPETE WITH GIANTS

WHAT BENEFITS CAN THE COOPERATIVE OFFER?
  • DECREASING START-UP AND OPERATIONAL COSTS

  • ACCESS TO A VERY DIVERSE SKILLSET

  • ACCESS TO LOCALLY PRODUCED REGENERATIVE INPUTS

  • LOWER MARKETING COSTS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL MEMBER

  • INCREASING MARKET SHARE & REACH

  • DECREASING START-UP RISK

HOW CAN WE REALISE THESE BENEFITS?
  • BY SHARING KNOWLEGDE BETWEEN MEMBERS AND INCREASING KNOW-HOW

  • BY SETTING UP A CENTRALISED DISTRIBUTION HUB WITH DOOR TO DOOR DELIVERY SERVICE

  • BY INCREASED CUSTOMER ORDERING COMFORT DUE TO DIVERSE SCALA OF REGENERATIVE PRODUCTS

  • BY SIMULTANEOUSLY STARTING UP INDIVIDUAL REGENERATIVE FARMS IN LOCAL AREA

WHAT IS REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE?

Filipe da Cunha

Motivation

Actions speak louder than words. I want to eat well, my children to grow up healthy and to work with the land. It would be great if that life would be in connection to like minded people. When you want to achieve something it takes dedication and persistence, something which comes naturally if you do what you love. Which I suppose, makes me a very lucky man!
