Workshop Natural Fermentation

Learn how to preserve vegetables through natural fermentation! A perfect way to add a lot of flavour and impress dinner guests. Also the theory will cover natural fermentation in a broader sense touching on both dairy  as well as meats.

What you will make

During this workshop you will make two variaties of naturally fermented seasonal vegetables and get into the fermentation of dairy and meat. You will be shown in detail how to prepare your produce, how to clean and prep the containers, how to ferment and how to create flavour. Sophie de Jong, La Bibioteca’s professional chef, will answer all your questions and teach you how to think outside of the box and create your own recipes in the future. At the end of the workshop we will serve a delicious organic two course meal with wine.

  • We start at 09:00 o’clock and lunch is served at 12:00 o’clock.
  • The price for this workshop is € 75 and includes an organic lunch with wine.
